What Takkad offers

A platform that gives you a preliminary triage result on how likely it is that an image, audio clip or video is generated or manipulated. The result is an automated estimate that helps you decide, not a final ruling.

The result is not legal evidence

A Takkad result is a preliminary triage, not final legal evidence. The models can be wrong, describing a real file as suspicious or the other way round. Do not rely on it alone for a financial or legal decision or to accuse anyone, and check the source in other ways. If you need an official report, the file can be referred to a forensic examiner.

Usage limits

A visitor without an account can run up to 3 checks a day, and the limit rises with a free account. We may change the limits to protect the service.

Acceptable use

Do not use Takkad for any of the following:

• Uploading unlawful material, or files you have no right to check.
• Defaming a person, or publishing a result as conclusive proof against them.
• Trying to get around usage limits or protections, or to disrupt the service.
• Extracting the models or reselling them, or using the service automatically without permission.
• Any use that breaks the regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Your files

Your files remain yours. You give us a limited permission to process them for the check only, and we delete them after 24 hours. They are never used for training without your explicit consent.

Suspension

We may suspend any account or session that misuses the service. You can delete your account at any time.

Limits of liability

The service is provided as it is. We work hard on its quality but do not promise it is free of errors or always available. We are not responsible for a decision you take based on the result, to the extent the law allows.

Changes to the terms

We may update these terms, and continuing to use the service means you accept the update.
